Welcome to Mustard Seed! We are a
church based on Easter Road in Leith, Edinburgh.
We started out of Soul Food, a free community meal gathered together around a table. It’s still the essence of who we are.
Inspired by Jesus’s example, we try to put social justice at the heart of all we do and welcome everyone with an equal place at the table.

We value kindness, hospitality, creativity, justice and joy.
The “Good News” of Jesus means: You are loved. You are unique. Your life has meaning. You belong.
We try to reflect this because many of our community are or have been experiencing the issues of homelessness. No matter who we are, what we’ve done or where we come from, all of us are valued.
