Our Church has been founded on the basis of providing community, engagement and service. St Margaret's was opened in 1879 as an Episcopal mission to working class communities. In 2017, St Margaret’s began a partnership with Mustard Seed to facilitate a mission focussed on the vulnerable and marginalised in a time of great social pressure, poor health, and material deprivation.
